Our story
Why is applying for a job so complicated?
We know the feeling: you want to apply, but even your resume leaves you unsure. Should you include a photo? How much detail should you give about your experience? What about a gap between jobs?
Applying abroad makes it even harder. What's expected in one country may be unusual in another. A translated guide you find online only helps if it also reflects how people apply for jobs locally. That's often what's missing. And even your favorite AI doesn't always know what matters in a resume for the country you're applying in.
That's why we built JobStep. We wanted a guide that considers your target country, your experience and the role you want. So you understand which details matter and build an application you can stand behind, step by step.

A few things to know about applying with JobStep.
Are language and target country the same thing?
No. You might need an English resume for Germany. The language determines the wording; the target country shapes recommendations for structure and content.
How is JobStep different from an AI chat?
JobStep gives the AI your resume, target role and country-specific guidelines. It asks relevant questions and guides you through the changes. You don't need to write your own prompts.
Do I start over for every application?
No. Your saved resume remains your starting point. Adapt it to the next role and add new experience, without entering everything again.
