Although the vast majority of our customers are satisfied with JobStep, there may be instances where the service doesn't meet your expectations for various reasons. At JobStep, we are committed to providing the best customer experience possible. Therefore, we are more than willing to offer a complimentary service adjustment or a 100% refund in such cases.

However, because our product is digital, and to prevent abuse, we have implemented several policies to ensure fairness and maintain a high-quality product for everyone.

What Doesn't Qualify for a Refund

We may not be able to provide a refund in the following scenarios:

Extensive Use of Service

To prevent abuse, extensive use of the service features is considered as using your product. This includes:

  • Downloading resumes in any of the formats we offer
  • Downloading tailored resumes or cover letters
  • Extensive job tracking (more than 10 jobs)

You will have the opportunity to preview and review all generated content before downloading or using it in your applications.

Timeframe for Refund Requests

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of purchase.

Money-Back Guarantee

We offer a 100% money-back guarantee within the first 7 days of your subscription if:

  • You haven't used any premium features
  • You contact us within 7 days of purchase
  • You provide feedback on why the service didn't meet your expectations (optional but appreciated)

How To Request a Refund

To request a refund, please contact Customer Support by emailing info@jobstep.io. When requesting a refund, please include:

  • The email address associated with your account
  • Your subscription plan and purchase date
  • A brief explanation of why you're requesting a refund (optional but helps us improve)

How Long Do Refunds Take

We will review and respond to refund requests, in accordance with this policy, within 1-3 business days. If your refund is approved, the funds will be returned to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.
